Jazz in Sanctuary – South Shore, Fall Concert, featuring The Yoron Israel Quartet: Celebrating Legacy – “Max Roach 100” – Friday, October 25 · 7 – 9pm EDT – Brockton MA

After successfully launching the “Jazz in The Sanctuary-South Shore” concert series in 2017, Ronja Music Company has produced sensational bi-annual concerts in the Brockton, Easton, and Canton communities.

This year’s fall concert, “Celebrating Legacy,” will occur at the Christ Congregational Church on Friday, October 25, at 7:00 PM. Being the 100th year of the birth of master drummer, bandleader, and innovator Max Roach, the Yoron Israel Quartet will perform the music and honor the life achievements of this jazz pioneer, who has and continues to influence generations of artists.

“Max Roach 100” promises to be an evening of world-class music for all ages. It will feature acclaimed Drummer/Percussionist/Composer/Arranger/Band Leader/Educator/ Recording Artist /Artistic Director/ Band Leader Yoron Israel with saxophonist Jacques Schwarz-Bart, pianist Laszlo Gardony, and bassist Kaela Kaumeheiwa.
